Dr. Frédéric Lapointe, podiatrist, completed his doctorate in podiatric medicine at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières in 2020. As part of his studies, he completed an internship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in medical imaging, podopediatrics and bone surgery. In addition, in December 2019, he participated in a humanitarian trip to Vietnam with the Association of Podiatrists Without Borders.

Dr. Lapointe completed a targeted foot ultrasound training in 2021. This medical imaging allows him to guide the treatment plan.

Dr. Lapointe is particularly interested in wound care. You have a wound that does not want to heal, or you are diabetic and want to regularly monitor the health of your feet, he will be able to accompany you. Dr. Lapointe completed the 2nd cycle microprogram in advanced practice in wound care at the University of Sherbrooke in 2021.

Passionate about alpine skiing and hiking, he will be able to answer your questions in terms of good shoes and sports pain.

Originally from Saint-Lambert, he is very happy to be able to set up his clinic there.
